The VIeW Project Preparatory Reading Pack offers participants key cultural insights into Lithuania, with a special focus on Vilnius as a host city for training and exchange activities.

Aims of the tool

By promoting intercultural awareness and mutual understanding, the Reading Pack supports participants in navigating cultural differences, building trust, and fully engaging in the collaborative and inclusive spirit of the VIeW project.

Description of the tool

It includes:

An introduction to Lithuania’s historical and cultural identity, with emphasis on youth culture, gender roles, and social attitudes;
A practical overview of Vilnius – its social environment, values, public spaces, and local customs;
Cross-cultural comparisons between Bulgaria, Lithuania, Cyprus, and Spain, highlighting key differences in communication styles, gender dynamics, group behavior, and approaches to leadership and participation.
